Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary:

We are dynamic fast paced property and casualty insurance agency that is looking for a Commercial Account Manager to provide prompt, knowledgeable, friendly service when assisting producers in maintaining and servicing accounts. We have been experiencing high growth the last several years and plan on continuing so in the future.

Essential Functions:

• Prepares applications, invoices, ID cards, certificates of insurance, binders, and cancellation forms as required

• Reviews and processes billing and change requests in the agency management system

• Participates in the renewal preparation process, including generating renewal updates on accounts specified by the Producer

• Provides quality customer service to clients, team members, and carriers

• Reviews policies and endorsements for completeness and accuracy

• Prepares policies for delivery to clients

• Communicates with company personnel regarding the client’s needs and/or issues

• Maintains an accurate suspense system on all items that require a response

• Fields phone calls from insured’s regarding questions about their coverage, changes, additions, payments, cancellations etc.

• Responsible for scanning communications and documents

Job Requirements Desired Qualifications:

• Insurance industry experience and college degree preferred.

•Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.

• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner that instills good working relationships with customers, clients, co-workers and management.

• Prior experience with AMS 360 preferred.

• Computer proficiency with Outlook, Excel Spreadsheets, and Word documents.

• Establishes priorities and organizes time efficiently to ensure that tasks are completed to meet or exceed deadlines
